Cut Off
Monday 15 September in Everyday by Funtime BenHave you ever almost cut off your index finger with a serrated knife, while trying to cut stale bread, to make yourself a mid-afternoon peanut butter and jelly sandwich, with peanut butter you just found from 3 months ago?

No, I haven’t, but I actually almost cut it off slicing a bagel in half. It was so bad I couldn’t play violin for months. Our conductor, who I had known since I was in elementary school, took one look at my hand and said, “That’s what you gentiles get for trying to eat our food!” It was funny, yes, but yeah, that cut hurt like a mofo!!!!
Get better soon.

Coming from a predominately Jewish Community, that is what the jews like to call a *bagel injury.*

I did it with a bagel too. Until the skin grew back, I just didn’t feel whole.

Great new site Ben! Love your photos, layout, logo etc!
As for cutting off your fingers. Flash back to college graduation. When I tore into my index finger with an xacto from trying to make those great little floppy photobooks of our design group… The day BEFORE graduation. :) I’ve got some great battle wound shots.

Ummm, I hate to tell you but it seems like a perfectly expectable punishment for peanut butter abandonment….3 months??

Good point, I hadn’t looked at it from the peanut butter’s point of view.

Poor peanut butter; imagine how it feels.
