Joys are often the shadowsm cast by sorrows in bed? Are they saying that joy is laying in bed, thinking baout bad sex of the past? Or are they saying that once one has truly bad sex, all other sex after that seems good, and that's a joyful thing? I'm sure the one-legged Russian lady from The Sopranos would be able to shed some light on this. Diane’s fortune is especially weird if you are playing the “in bed” game.

Years ago I was a typesetter. One particular job was fortune cookie fortunes for a company in NYC. And well, I'll just say they were totally stupid and probably thot up while somebody was drunk and stoned and hi and well, I just wouldn't read Anything into them (as far as foreshadowing of life goes).
